{go big or go home}

Yes, I actually set my alarm and woke up to watch the #royalwedding. It was beautiful! Very elegant! I must say Miss Kate was a born Princess. She was so calm and relaxed to be marrying a Prince.
William defiantly picked the perfect wife. She was born to be royalty!
My favorite part about the whole event was watching all the woman show up in their over the top, dramatic, whimsical hats. I loved them!!! Honestly, I am all about rocking a hat for my next wedding.
Hats are going to be a huge trend this season! Just sayin...
I love that David even had his hat!
Tara Palmer-Tomkinson
Sophie Countess of Wessex

What kind of hat would you wear?

{pajama party}

I love that one minute I am picking for found pieces and the next I am styling a photo shoot.
That is exactly how my day went on Wednesday. On my way to meet the team of {Elite Social Management}, I happened to spot a Goodwill, {time check} just so happens that I was 45 mins early {go me, I am never this early, have you ever heard of Filipino Time! LOL}...... well I could sit in the parking lot for 45 mins or I can run into Goodwill for 15 mins and have a half hour to spare.
HELLO, of course I hit my brakes and ran as fast as I could.
15 mins later, I was sadly disappointed because I didn't find a single thing. So unlike me! Is it just me or when you go into a Goodwill or Salvation Army, it's just not the same? Very picked over, very hit or miss, and jeez you would think you were shopping at an Antique Store with some of the price tags.
They are high, if they think I am going to pay $50 on a lamp! I can go to {Home Goods} and get a SWEET lamp for that price. Just sayin.....
After my little detour, I headed to {Simple Studio Lighting} where I met Melissa, Jen, Rebecca, and Nancy of {Elite Social Management} and {Beverly Hills Basics}, designer Wanda for her pajama photo shoot.
My day consisted of dressing and undressing Erika {the mannequin} our model for the day, with bright, colorful, fun pajama's. Making sure every wrinkle, crease, button, arm, and leg, was in place
and camera ready!
A big Thank You to Jen for helping me man Erika, and Nancy for being able to tie a PERFECT bow.
I must admit I am horrible at bows!

Here are some behind the scene photos
Miss Wanda
Jen, "Quite on the set!" "Our model needs it to be silent, PEOPLE!" LOL! wink wink
Trying to steam out some last minute wrinkles
Jen & I keeping an eye on the photographer.....
Love the photographer, Jonathan! Isn't he cute?
Wanda scanning the room, making sure everything is perfect

The last shot of the day

I am spent! I seriously was sweating {I don't sweat!}, they forgot to turn the air on!
Note to self: Make sure to add a fan to the list. You can never have enough fans. :)

It was a GREAT day! Thank you to {Elite Social Management} for bringing me on to style Beverly Hills Basics!

{The Lucky Lonely}

I am so excited to show the pictures & video from the {Urban Barn} shoot!
The look was dark, raw, rugged, and manly bringing in a vintage urban musical backdrop that the guys could rock.
This shoot was curated for a special {Kickstarter} video, launching a hott new band,
These three talented guys, Warren Ellison, David Bennett, Michael Bedard have been playing music as far back as they can remember. They are passionate about music, life, and doing what they love!
Their talent doesn't just stop at being able to pick up a musical instrument and start playing it. They are solo artist, song writers, music directors, who have toured with ones such as {American Idol} winner, {Jordin Sparks}
Trust me when I tell you, "You will be seeing a lot more of The Lucky Lonely!"
I must give a BIG "Thank you" to Paul Kerby of {SSPG} for introducing me to Craig Zarcos of

{glue in or clip in}

Who else has ran into this dilemma?
I have a bride that is trying to decide if she should put extensions in for her wedding. I suggested trying the clip in extensions first before having them glued in {at least they can clip out, if she hates it}.
Stars like {Jessica Simpson} and {Paris Hilton} have used them (they say). I know, Jessica Simpson has a line of hair extensions but I have never actually tried them.
I came across an Australia company, {Shine Hair Extensions} who use real hair! Is it just me or do products that come from Australia seem so much cooler than here in the US {Australian's are probably thinking the same thing about our products}?
They also sell and use {Moroccan Oil}, if you ever thought about buying this product but said never mind (it's too pricey) go back and buy yourself the bottle! I LOVE LOVE this oil!
It keeps my hair sooo shiny! I have had my bottle for over a year and seriously, I have barely made a dent in the bottle (looks brand new). Until, my daughter decided she would play in the bathroom sink and started pouring out all my bottles of hair product {that's a whole other story in itself, the daily life of a mom}. My once brand new bottle of Moroccan Oil is now empty and I am forced to go out and buy another bottle because it is THAT GOOD. I can't live without it.

{would you....}

put a slide in your house??
I absolutely would! My daughter would never get board with a slide.
Here are a few of my favorites,
Indonesian home {concrete slide}
New York Duplex
Shut up, a trap door in the bathroom!
I LOVE this one! Why? If you notice you can be sitting in the living room and watch the kids go by on the slide. Genius!!! They also have the option of stopping in the living room before going down to the first floor. {check the diagram above}
