I recently styled a wedding in Laguna Beach for an amazing couple! The bride, Shala came to me wanting something unique, whimsical, and a touch of romance. Of course, I was already picturing chandeliers hanging from the windows, old vintage lamp shade lights hanging from the entrance and vintage seating around the dance floor.

I had so much fun styling this wedding and working with other talented people!
I have never seen someone more passionate about their job like Paul Kerby of {SSPG}. He filmed from the very first curl, down to the last song of the night. He goes above and beyond what is asked of him, each bride gets to have a video that is catered to the couples style, personality, making it unique and one of kind,  something you will not be embarrassed to show off 10 years from now. You only get the best with him, which is why, I must share with you the teaser video he sent me. 

I am on pins and needles to see the finish product!

Don't you love it when you look at a picture and it makes your heart melt!?
 That is exactly what happened when I saw this ADORABLE couple! You can just see the intense chemistry between the two of them.
They obviously love to have fun, I mean check out the heart glasses and confetti. LOVE IT!!!

One of the uber talented stylist, Stephanie Dix from {Ribbons & Rust} put together the cutest backdrop for the couple to play with.  Who doesn't love swings? 

This is definitely a style{d} approved shoot!

{kickstarter campaign}

Who loves researching and finding new bands to listen to? I know, I do.

I recently was introduced to a great band called, The Lucky Lonely. I have talked about them on my blog before, remember the interview for the Kickstarter video? This time I had the privilege of seeing them live.  OMG, you must hear David Bennett sing! All I can say is, They are AMAZING LIVE!!

They have an insane energy about them and create this contagious vibe, in which the crowd goes nuts over! This past weekend I styled a very special concert they threw for all there friends and family. 

We wanted to do something a little different and out of the box, so we used the Urban Barn in Escondido as the venue. I took old doors/windows and had them scattered behind the band, decided why not make a bed into the stage, throw some lights up and lets have everyone sit on all the crazy found iron pieces in the back lot. 

As a result, we had a ridiculous turn out and killed two birds with one stone.
We had an audience for the band and buyers for the store!

Rheanna Downey was thrilled to be opening up for The Lucky Lonely, especially in a cozy setting where she could focus on singing her heart out. This girl has an AMAZING voice!

Paul from SSPG, decided to put a camera on the roof and did a time lapse of the whole day. 

The Lucky Lonely really started this Kickstarter campaign to help make there EP and hopefully go on tour to do what they love, in result they met some amazing people along the way who they can now call friends, and ended up raising $4,600 dollars in 3 days. 

Word is they may go on tour with Katie Perry but shhh! nothing is set in stone. 

Keep your eyes out for The Lucky Lonely, cause you wont want to miss them the next time they pass thru your town! I'm just sayin..........

{Hyatt Resort & Spa Mass Wedding}

K-earth 101 put on a Mass Military Wedding at the Hyatt Resort & Spa in Huntington Beach, CA.
21 couples walked hand in hand underneath the beautiful palm trees and expressed their love to each other in front of family, friends, and K-earth 101 listeners!

Elite Social Management was honored to handle all the social media coverage for this mass wedding, between Melissa, myself, and Rebecca aka Team Elite, we took photos, interviews, and had a live Twitter and Facebook feed, covering every second. 

Stacy of Hitching Post PR not only got an amazing group of vendors together but kept everyone on schedule and made sure things were running smoothly.

Tony Purry of Purry Communications Group had a huge part of putting this event on as well and it couldn't of been done without her. 

Wenda Evans of More than Just Weddings was the wedding planner, who made sure the venue looked amazing and each bride & groom were taken care of for their special day. When one of the grooms forgot their tux, Wenda swooped in and had one delivered ASAP so the wedding could go on without a hitch.

Your probably thinking 21 couples, how, what? Those of you in the wedding industry know how demanding a wedding is with one couple, let alone 21, right?

This is how, the couples were each assigned a photographer, Studio EMP, Luminaire Images, Damien Smith Photography, Gavin Wade Photographer, Happy Photos, Manalo Empire. 

Floral was provided by Natural Charms Floral Designs who handled the Ceremony, Flower Fusion handled Boutonnieres, Floral Occasions handled Bouquets. 

Linens were provided by Fusion Linens, DJ & Photobooth was provided by J&M Entertainment, Invitations by Copper Willow Paper Studio, Hair & Makeup by Design Visage & All Made Up Team.

Cakes & Cupcakes, provided by Fork in the Road Catering, Table design, by Charm Event Design

All I can say is, it was a day of "TEAM WORK"! 

A day that each couple will remember for the rest of there life.

I had to share with you the latest happenings at Haus of Style{d}.

It has been one crazy month at style{d} by karli, between styling, interior design projects, events and a new partnership with {Elite Social Management} {I am there new Creative Strategist}. 

I have had no time to blog! 

One event I was apart of this month was held at the new HOTT spot in Orange County,
THE OC MART MIX!

The OC Mart Mix is a totally unique shopping experience. It's a large retail space within South Coast Collection {SoCo} retail center where you will find more than 20 one of kind boutiques including a wine bar. This is my kind of place!
In the next few months, they will be finishing phase two of the development with 25 more shops.
It really is a huge family and community!!

So of course when asked to be apart of The OC MART MIX Fashion Show and design the runway backdrop. I immediately jumped on it!
